Light Aircraft Pilot Licence – Helicopter (LAPL-H) (LAPL(H))
LAPL(H) is the recreational helicopter pilot licence (EASA). Shorter programme than PPL(H), lighter LAPL medical. Entitles you to fly under certain conditions.
Prerequisites
- Age: min. 16/17
- Medical: LAPL
How to obtain
Theory and min. 30 h practical training. Practical exam. Option to extend to PPL(H).
Approximate cost
Approximately lower cost than PPL(H), but still high due to aircraft type. Prices at training organisations.
