Instrument Rating – Aeroplane (IR(A)) (IR(A))
IR(A) is the full instrument rating for aeroplanes under EASA. It covers IFR flight in controlled airspace. Obtained through IR/SE and IR/ME training or an integrated course.
Prerequisites
- PPL(A) or CPL(A)
- Medical certificate
- Theoretical requirements (e.g. ATPL theory or IR theory)
How to obtain
Theoretical and practical training (SE and ME). Exams. Details in Part-FCL.
Approximate cost
Cost depends on path (modular vs integrated). Tens of thousands PLN.
