Flight Dispatcher Licence (FDL) (FDL)

FDL (Flight Dispatcher Licence) is the flight dispatcher licence. The dispatcher plans and supervises flight operations from the ground (route planning, mass and balance, documentation, liaison with crew). Required in commercial transport. Issued by CAA after completing the course and passing exams.

  • Age and medical requirements (statutory)
  • Completion of approved FDL course
  • Passing CAA theoretical and practical exams

How to obtain

Theoretical and practical course at approved organisation. State exams. On-the-job training.
