Dne 4.4.2016 došlo k letecké nehodě UL letounu, repliky letounu Pitts 1 / RagWing Special. V průběhu letu v blízkosti LKUL došlo k pádu UL letounu v malé výšce. Letoun následně narazil do země v prostoru sběrného dvora odpadů. Pilot utrpěl zranění, kterým na místě letecké nehody podlehl. UL letoun byl silně poškozen.
