Operation risk is influenced by weather, recency, experience on type, time pressure, physical and mental state, quality of alternates and route difficulty. The score does not replace the commander's decision - a high score should lead to mitigation: different departure time, simpler route, extra fuel reserve or different alternate.

What is the flight risk assessment for?
The tool helps you gather before flight information on route, weather, recency, human factors and aircraft, then shows a score and recommendation (go, exercise caution or consider not flying). It is meant to support the briefing, not replace the pilot in command's decision.
How do I interpret the result?
A low score (green "Go") means an acceptable risk profile for the data you entered. Yellow "Exercise caution" suggests mitigations. A high score (red "Do not go") should lead you to change the plan, add reserve or not fly.
Does the result depend on weather?
Yes. Cloud ceiling, visibility, gusts and crosswind component have a strong impact on the score. Worse conditions mean a higher score. Precipitation, CB, convection and icing are also included as a checkbox.
Can I rely on this assessment for GO/NO-GO decision?
No. The tool is for support and planning only. The final decision is made by the pilot in command based on current sources, NOTAMs and their own judgment.
What factors increase the risk score?
Among others: low ceiling and poor visibility, few flight hours in the last 90 days, few takeoffs in 30 days, time pressure, fatigue, low fuel reserve, unfamiliar airfield, short runway, mountainous terrain and few alternates along the route.
