the flight will be performed during daytime only,
-
the flight will be performed clear of cloud and in visual reference to terrain,
-
ground visibility is not less than 1500 m, in case of helicopters – not less than 800 m,
-
the ceiling is not less than 600 ft,
-
the flight will be performed with indicated airspeed (IAS) 140 kt or lower giving adequate opportunity to observe other traffic and any obstacles to avoid collision.
A special VFR clearance may be cancelled if the weather conditions change below the meteorological minima for a special VFR flight described above.
5 TAKE-OFF, LANDING AND LINE-UP CLEARANCE
Clearance for take-off, landing and line-up shall be issued by RADOM TOWER.

Radio communication failure procedure for flights on RNP 1 STARs:
If a STAR was assigned and the flight crew acknowledged it, set the transponder to 7600, continue in accordance with the FPL and follow the assigned STAR, then execute without delay an (ILS, VOR, RNP) approach and land.
For a flight on a route that shortens the RNP 1 STAR route, intercept the course at the last assigned and confirmed point of the arrival route and continue as described above.
-
Radio communication failure procedure for flights other than RNP 1 STARs:
Set the transponder to code 7600. Maintain the last assigned and acknowledged altitude/flight level. Continue to the RDO DVOR/DME. Over this DVOR descend to an altitude of 4000 ft, then carry out a RWY 25 instrument approach (RWY 25 VOR) and land on the most convenient RWY (depending on the wind direction and other circumstances).
Remark: The communication failure procedures for IFR flights apply to the CTR/TMA and MCTR/MTMA.

EPRA AD 2.23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The operator of Warszawa-Radom aerodrome has a certificate issued in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.
At Warszawa-Radom aerodrome, the movement of civil and military aircraft takes place on the basis of internal agreements between the parties.
Information on military aviation is not subject to the supervision of the President of the Civil Aviation Authority.
Airspace elements, air traffic services, regulations, aerodrome infrastructure elements managed by the military user (Military Unit 4938) have been appropriately described.
1 INSPECTION OF ANIMALS ACTIVITY AND REPORTING
The wildlife activity control on the manoeuvring area and in the vicinity of the aerodrome is provided by the falconer or operational services with the use of birds of prey, pyrotechnic and bio-acoustic means and firearm. Each probable collision of aircraft with animal shall be recorded and reported to the Civil Aviation Authority.
1.1 WILDLIFE ACTIVITY IN THE VICINITY OF THE AERODROME
There is an increased bird activity from the 1-3 category (large and medium) due to the forest complex located on the south-east and a dense poplar area located on the north-east in the vicinity of the aerodrome. The largest group, constituting about 50% of recorded birds, are from category 3B (medium gregarious). They have been identified as rooks, wood pigeons and other corvids. 98% of the passages are observed at a height up to 100 m and the most encountered birds are as follows: wood pigeons (44.4%), starlings (39.4%), rooks (8.1%) and jackdaws (4.5%). Hares, foxes and badgers may be incidentally observed at the aerodrome.
Bird migration
Spring (from March to May)
Birds mainly migrate in the N, NE and E direction. Caspian gulls, shags and cranes dominate among big birds. Rooks and wood pigeons dominate among medium birds. It should be noted gulls fly in the SW, S and SE direction due to their passages between feeding areas (Wincentów rubbish dump) and breeding sites (Dolina Wisły region).
Autumn (from August to October)
Birds mainly migrate on the axis of NW-SE. This relates to flocks of wood pigeons, rooks and other corvids.
Warning
There is an increased likelihood of a collision of aircraft with animals in the vicinity of the RWY due to the largest encountered group of birds:
buzzard - throughout the year,
white stork - the second decade of March – the third decade of August,
goose - spring (March, April) and autumn (October),
starling - from March to October,
wood pigeon - from March to October,
rook - throughout the year,
jackdaw - throughout the year,
kestrel - throughout the year.
