It is recommended to enter the traffic circuit by arriving at the airfield:
  • from the North via ZULU point,
  • from the South via LIMA point,
  • from the East via KILO point,
  • from the West via JULIETT point.

2 VFR procedures

5 NM before the ARP, report the intention to join the traffic circuit and follow the instructions given by the person maintaining radio contact at the airfield.
If no radio contact is established, transmit blindly.
Fly over the signs at an altitude of 2000 ft AMSL, identify the landing direction using the wind sleeve and, with heightened attention, commence descent to the altitude of the traffic circuit which is 1500 ft AMSL.
Until the third turn, maintain an altitude of 1500 ft AMSL and commence descent on base leg.
North pattern is recommended.
In exceptional cases south pattern is possible.
