1 PROCEDURES FOR VFR FLIGHTS

1.1. List of VFR navigation points used for arrivals/ departures to/from aerodrome:

1.2 Arrival and departures to/from aerodrome

 

FROM NORTH

An arrival to the aerodrome from the north shall be carried out over the eastern part of Lake Dąbie via BRAVO point localised in the south-eastern part of Lake Dąbie Małe. Then follow the instructions of the Director of Flights. When the Director of Flights is not available, if needed, enter the aerodrome traffic circuit for motor-powered aircraft in the northern part and for non-motor-powered aircraft in the southern part. A departure shall be carried out by performing the above-mentioned actions in the reverse order.

 

FROM WEST

An arrival to the aerodrome from the west may be conducted via ALFA or DELTA points - depending on the runway in use.

While conducting the arrival via ALFA point, it shall be reached by flying along the southern edge of Szczecin town. While conducting the arrival via DELTA point, it shall be reached by flying over the motorway A6 or along the southern edge of Szczecin town. Then follow the instructions of the Director of Flights.

When the Director of Flights is not available, if needed, enter the aerodrome traffic circuit for motor-powered aircraft in the northern part and for non-motor-powered aircraft in the southern part. A departure shall be carried out by performing the above-mentioned actions in the reverse order.

The Bukowe Hills stretches to the south of the aerodrome (altitude: 148 m AMSL, with a TV mast 407 m AMSL).

 

FROM SOUTH

An arrival/departure to/from the aerodrome shall be conducted as an arrival/departure from/to the east - via PAPA point or the west via DELTA point.

 

FROM EAST

An arrival to the aerodrome from the east shall be conducted along Szczecin - Stargard Szczeciński railway station via PAPA point (Reptowo station) - SZCZECIN/Dąbie ATZ boundary towards CHARLIE point (railway siding). Then follow the instructions of the Director of Flights.

When the Director of Flights is not available, if needed, enter the aerodrome traffic circuit for motor-powered aircraft in the northern part and for non-motor-powered aircraft in the southern part. A departure shall be carried out by performing the above-mentioned actions in the reverse order.
