4 IN CASE OF LOSS OF COMMUNICATION – GLIDER IN FLIGHT

It is required that the crew of the glider shall report its position every 15 minutes. In case of loss of communication it is required to perform landing immediately. After landing the crew must immediately notify the TWR about the situation by any available means of communication.

1 Applications for permission

1.1. Since EPRJ aerodrome is located within the RZESZÓW/Jasionka CTR, flight/take-off from EPRJ, entry into controlled airspace/landing at EPRJ are subject to clearance by RZESZÓW TWR during ATC operational hours (see AIP Poland AD 2 EPRZ 2.18 and NOTAM).
Remark:
RZESZÓW TWR does not provide ATC on the surface of EPRJ aerodrome.
1.2. Glider flights at EPRJ aerodrome may be conducted upon notification by phone to RZESZÓW TWR and receiving ATC instructions. Rzeszów (EPRJ) aerodrome is available upon obtaining the acceptance of AD operator. An application for the acceptance shall be submitted within the operator operational hours, 24 HR in advance of the planned flight operation. The receipt of the acceptance does not apply to an operator entered in INOP, i. e. Aeroklub Rzeszowski. Details on the AD availability: phone: +48-17-743-27-07.
2. RWY 08R/26L: 900m x 30m, PCN 37/F/B/W/T, CONC/ASPH, RWY lighting (THR LGT/RENL, REDL).
3. RWY 08L/26R: 746m x 50m, grass, 5700 kg MTOW.
