1.2. VFR routes

The routes are designed within uncontrolled Class G airspace, where VMC procedures are applicable.

The pilot-in-command of an aircraft conducting flights within the EPPI airfield area is required to become familiar with the current AUP and actual use of airspace elements. The information is available from the ASM-3 Duty Officer, phone: +48-22-574-57-33 – 35.

During the activity of EPTR2, aircraft not participating in the activities are allowed to fly through the area reserved for the operations provided that they have permission from the relevant ATS unit or relevant organiser of flights.

EPTR2 to be entered at the designated arrival points, in two-way VHF contact with the flights organiser at the EPPI airfield.

Outside the airfield area two-way VHF radio communication with POZNAŃ FIS (126.300 MHz) or GDAŃSK FIS (127.150 MHz) – depending on the flight direction – is recommended.

The airfield operator maintains a continuous watch on the FIS frequency.

During flights along the designated routes, it is recommended to maintain 2000 ft AMSL (600 m) in order to provide a safe vertical separation from the upper limits of active MRTs located within the airfield area.

1.3. The fixed arrival and departure routes to/from the airfield are designated and indicated as follows:

Route KILO (southern):

Route ZULU (western):
ZULU - EPPI

Route DELTA (northern):

Within the airfield area and its direct vicinity, an area of aerial activity has been designated for: paragliders, powered paragliders, remotely piloted models and unmanned aerial vehicles. The area has been designated in the form of a circle of 1.0 NM radius centred at point with coordinates: 531012N 0164245E. Detailed information available from AIP Poland ENR 5.5 and ENR 6.7-3.
