1 PROCEDURES FOR VFR FLIGHTS

Whenever possible, arrivals and departures shall be carried out via the VFR points:
 
Then via routes:
FROM NORTH:
Arrive via NOVEMBER , then fly over the forest (Las Miejski), passing north-east of the densely built-up area of Olsztyn. Near Lake Ukiel (Lake Krzywe), join the north circuit pattern. Departure to be carried out in the reverse order.
FROM WEST:
Arrive via WHISKEY along the national road No 16, then join the north circuit pattern near Lake Ukiel (Lake Krzywe). Departure to be carried out in the reverse order.
FROM SOUTH:
Arrive via SIERRA along the eastern coast of Lake Wulpińskie, then fly over the forest. Pass east of the housing estate Dajtki (south of the aerodrome) and join the north circuit pattern near Lake Ukiel (Lake Krzywe). Departure to be carried out in the reverse order.
FROM EAST:
Pass north (via NOVEMBER ) or south (via SIERRA ) of the densely built-up area of Olsztyn. Continue as described above. Departure to be carried out in the reverse order.
Remark: For powered aircraft, it is advised to avoid overflying the housing estate Dajtki, adjacent to the south side of the aerodrome.

2 Aerodrome traffic circuit

Powered aircraft shall fly the north circuit pattern and non-powered aircraft shall fly the south circuit pattern.

1. When DAJTKI RADIO (124.480 MHz) is not operating, it is advised to transmit blind position reports (before entry into circuit pattern or on final approach) on 124.480 MHz, using call sign DAJTKI TRAFFIC.
2. Operations performed by helicopters of Medical Air Rescue (HEMS).
For the purposes of Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) at Dajtki k/Olsztyna aerodrome portable lighting system of aiming point (FATO) is used, in accordance with the requirements of ICAO Annex 14, Vol. II, which includes 18 omnidirectional white lights displayed on a FATO and the aiming point, without a possibility of touchdown.
