1 List of navigation points for VFR arrivals/departures at/from the aerodrome

2 Arrival/departure routes

2.1. Arrival from the north is to be performed via GOLF point in the direction of the aerodrome traffic circuit, then join and fly the aerodrome traffic circuit. Departure is to be performed in the reverse order.  Arrival and departure to the GOLF point are to be performed at an altitude of not more than 2300 ft – 3500 ft AMSL (due to GOLF being located below EPKT LTMA) Arrival at EPKM aerodrome is to be performed bypassing Katowice city centre
2.2. Arrivals from the west shall be conducted via Gliwice (EPGL) aerodrome as described below.
From PAPA (from north): proceed via EPGL in the direction of the EPKM traffic circuit. Join and fly the circuit pattern. Departures shall be conducted by following the above procedure in reverse order. Due to EPKT LTMA, arrivals and departures at/from PAPA shall be conducted at an altitude of not more than 2300 ft AMSL.
From TANGO (from north-east): proceed via EPGL in the direction of the EPKM traffic circuit. Join and fly the circuit pattern. Departures shall be conducted by following the above procedure in reverse order. Arrivals/departures at/from TANGO during the EPTR139 activity hours shall be conducted at an altitude of not higher than 1900 ft AMSL.
Remark : Call sign and frequency of Gliwice (EPGL) aerodrome: GLIWICE RADIO, 118.260 MHz.
When overflying EPGL aerodrome, pilots shall take particular care due to air activity within GLIWICE ATZ and follow the instructions given by the Director of Flights at EPGL.
2.3. Aircraft arriving from the south shall fly via SIERRA or MIKE in the direction of the aerodrome traffic circuit to join and fly it. Departing aircraft shall follow the above instruction in reverse order.
2.4. Aircraft arriving from the east shall fly via BRAVO or HOTEL in the direction of the aerodrome traffic circuit to join and fly it. Departing aircraft shall follow the above instruction in reverse order.
Arrivals/departures at/from BRAVO and HOTEL during the EPTR139 activity hours shall be conducted at an altitude of not higher than 1900 ft AMSL.

3 Aerodrome traffic circuits

All aircraft shall fly an aerodrome traffic circuit on the southern side of the aerodrome: right-hand for RWY 07 and 05 or left-hand for RWY 23 and 25.
The outer (aeroplane) circuit pattern is intended for aeroplanes, helicopters and gyroplanes. The inner (glider) circuit pattern is intended for gliders and micro-light aircraft.
All aircraft shall fly an aerodrome traffic circuit at a height of 1000 ft (~300 m) AGL. Larger aeroplanes and turbine aeroplanes shall join a circuit pattern at a height of 1500 ft (~450 m) AGL. The intended circuit pattern altitude shall be reached before downwind leg. The pilot shall provide safe separation from the preceding aircraft, considering the performance of his/her aircraft.
